Valerie Quinones

In her role as Director of Risk Management, Valerie is responsible for developing and managing the firm’s risk management, internal auditing, and compliance programs. Valerie’s responsibilities include providing valuable and influential risk insight and metrics to support the company’s strategic objectives, governance, and operations.

Valerie began her career in 2006 and joined Boston Trust Walden in 2024. Previously, she worked as a senior manager at Ernst & Young, and more recently led risk management efforts as the enterprise and operational risk lead at Putnam Investments. Valerie earned a BS in Mathematics and Finance from Northeastern University, and a dual MBA and MPP from the University of Maryland. She earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation from The Institutes.
