Sarah T. Kelly, JD, CFP®
Managing Director, COO, and General Counsel
As Chief Operating Officer at Boston Trust Walden, Sarah oversees corporate services and investment operations. She manages the teams responsible for client service administration, information technology, risk management, and mutual fund and pooled fund services. She also serves as General Counsel, advising the Board and the firm’s business managers on legal matters.
Sarah is a member of the Boston Trust Walden Board of Directors and serves as chair of the Audit & Risk Management Committee. This committee oversees regulatory matters, including the evaluation of internal controls, information security and business continuity programs, and activities related to trusts, trading, and performance reporting. She also leads several cross-functional strategic initiatives.
Sarah began her career in 1982 and joined Boston Trust Walden in 2002 as Director of Risk Management. Previously, she worked at BankBoston/Fleet in account management and compliance. Sarah earned a BA from the University of Rhode Island, an MEd from Boston University, and a JD from Suffolk Law School. She is admitted to the Bar in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
