As the Chief Operating Officer at Boston Trust Walden, Karen oversees corporate services and investment operations. She manages the teams responsible for client service administration, information technology, mutual fund and pooled fund services, business systems, and investment and custody operations. She also provides oversight of the team responsible for maintaining and hosting the firm’s critical business systems.
Karen previously served as the firm’s Director of Operations, and more recently, as Deputy Chief Operating Officer. During her tenure, Karen has led several cross-functional initiatives that support the firm’s strategic objectives. She currently serves on the firm’s Audit & Risk Management Committee and other committees that support the firm’s core business, including business systems, investment vehicle development, incident response and business continuity planning.
Karen began her career in 2001 and joined Boston Trust Walden in 2015. Previously, she worked at Boston Common Asset Management and Excalibur Asset Management. Karen earned a BS in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University.
