Domenic Colasacco, CFA
Board Chair and Portfolio Manager
Domenic began his investment career in 1969 and joined the firm when it was the trust division of a regional bank in 1974. He established the firm’s business strategy as an investment management organization and led the management effort to buy out the firm from its parent company. When the company became employee-owned in 2004, he was named chair of the Boston Trust Walden Board of Directors. He served as the firm’s Chief Executive Officer from 1980 to 2016.
In January 2021, Domenic stepped down from formal portfolio management responsibilities for institutional clients. In his role as Senior Advisor, Domenic serves in an advisory capacity to the firm’s investment team and is a member of the Investment and Investment Policy Committees. He continues to manage assets for private wealth clients and he remains chair of the Board of Directors.
Domenic earned BS and MBA degrees from Babson College. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Society Boston and the CFA Institute.
