Amy Crandall Kaser, CFP®
Chief Investment Officer, Wealth Strategies
Amy is the Chief Investment Officer of our Wealth & Investment Management business. In this role, she develops and implements investment policy and strategies to meet the unique needs of the firm’s private wealth clients. In addition, Amy manages balanced and equity portfolios for institutional and private wealth clients. She is a member of the Investment, Investment Policy, Portfolio Strategy, Wealth Strategies, and ESG Research & Engagement Committees. She also contributes to securities research and analysis.
Amy began her career in 1995 and joined Boston Trust Walden in 2012. Most recently, she worked at Shepherd Kaplan Krochuk where she was a Managing Director and the firm’s Investment Strategist. She previously worked for hedge fund New Generation Advisors and the Harvard Business School, where she authored case studies and developed teaching materials for MBA studies in business analysis and valuation. Amy also worked as an Investment Officer at MFS Investment Management where she performed fundamental analysis on the chemical and restaurant industries, and at Loomis Sayles & Company where she served as a Vice President and Senior Equity Analyst covering equities within the consumer discretionary sector.
Amy earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from the College of William & Mary. She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. She is the treasurer of the Munroe Center for the Arts in Lexington, MA and a member of the Boston and a member of the Investment Committee of Urban Edge, a national leader in the community development field that builds affordable housing in Boston. Amy is also a member of the Boston Economics Club, Boston Council on Foreign Relations, and the Boston Estate Planning Council.
